Affordable Housing Advisory Committee

NOTICE OF VACANCIES: The Board of County Commissioners of Okeechobee County, Florida is seeking interested residents of Okeechobee County for appointment to the Affordable Housing Advisory Committee.  There are seven (7) vacant positions.  If possible, member positions should be filled with citizens representing banking/mortgage lending industry, labor, low income advocate, not-for-profit housing provider, residential home builder and citizen/lay person.  Applications for appointment may be obtained from the County Administration Office, Okeechobee County Courthouse, 304 NW 2^ndStreet, Okeechobee, Florida.  Applications may also be downloaded from www.co.okeechobee.fl.us.  Completed applications, along with proof of residency in Okeechobee County and evidence of eligibility where applicable, must be submitted to the County Administrator’s Office no later than Noon on October 20, 2010....more details
